  The Tri Color
Drivers suits were now mandated by SCCA. Cars were held to a higher standard of appearance. The tri-color had more horsepower, limited slip differential and all spherical bearing suspension. Artsy black & white photography. Attempt to use the racecar to promote Fiat and contingency suppliers. Pro Rally is not a good marketing medium for local dealers, the car was only seen by hard-core fans and the owners of the actual businesses. This was a Solo II demon- The Alquati Fiati A '74 X with head, cam, dual Weber intake from Art & Sue Bayless when they were in Memphis. Beautiful spoiler rear deck & blended flares. Car pretty much won whatever it entered.

Short lived, exciting series. Probably ahead of its time…would still be today. Noble effort- usually terrible weather. The car that started it all. Purchased in San Francisco, shipped to Wisconsin. Traveled throughout Canada, East Coast United States, Florida Keys. Went through rain, snow blizzards and, unfortunately, salt! Fast car that was assembled to meet a too tight deadline… something wasn't completely bolted together. A mighty crash that proved the effectiveness of a stout roll cage.

Great trip. Siamesse Cat, Mitzu made the trip from Wisconsin in this car that also included the US GP at Watkins Glen. Midway through build Fiat says they were leaving. I asked "Racing?"and they replied "No, the country.” I think you can still get a lot of this stuff if you just call them. Serious engineering- great advice. We never got support like this from the factory.

Old stuff, including the Abarth car we never received. A small sample of what Pro Rally was like in the last century. Copy of the checklist completed before every race (except our first 100 Acre Woods)
